The insulating materials we mentioned refer to Giordana’s Super Roubaix fabric, which makes up the body of the tights and serves to retain body heat in cold temperatures. The nylon/spandex microfiber features a brushed, lofted interior to provide insulation, and it has a knitted construction reminiscent of spandex, but thicker. As you’d expect from its synthetic make-up, SuperRoubaix pulls moisture away from your skin so it can evaporate, preventing a chilly dampness after the first big climb of your ride.

Chamois, which features multiple foam layers with variable densities reaching 14mm thick at their max. The nylon upper is also infused with aloe vera during the manufacturing process.
